Janine is a Certified Professional Coder who graduated from Hawaii Medical College; after which she was invited to join Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society.  Born and raised in Hawaii, Janine has been in the medical field for over five years.  Her family is also in the medical field and they influenced her to join it as well. She enjoys working at ‘Ekahi Health because she is able to help both participants and her coworkers with their coding needs.  Janine finds billing and coding the perfect career for her because it allows her to work with both sides of the medical field, the customer service side and the professional side.  She learns a lot about medical procedures and working with participants in her job.  In her free time, Janine likes to read, write, watch movies and anime, and play with her four black cats.
